Oh Randomness!
First, congratulations to the sexy babe for getting her motorbike license! (= I see a celebration coming soon! *Winks*
Have not blogged for awhile. Not in the mood and was too lazy. Aha~ =p
Dad's home till the 7th of May. I miss him so much. Home's still the BEST!
Family dinner tml; BBQ on sat. I'm going to get fatter this weekend. Aha. Well, i'll just walk a few more hills then. Haha.
Hmm, i kind of forgotten what i wanted to blog about. Oops. Oh ya, i remembered.
I used to have this thinking that my classmates who are doing their FYP/attachment in school are much more fortunate. Their projects seem to be less complicated, their timing is very flexible - they can leave early once they have finished their work for the day or they can even be absent from work if they have nothing to do for that particular day.
However, come to think of it, having attachment to a company is not as bad as it seems. I have learnt to be more independent (not that I'm not) during practicals as I cant possibly be relying on my mentor all the time. I've learnt to ponder on what I've done for the day, and what i need to do the next day. I've learnt to be more courageous and ask questions when in doubt instead of just putting it aside, and how to get along with my colleagues. Frankly, its a very good experience for me and i should say I'm much more fortunate than the rest.
My supervisor is a very quiet man. However, he always seem to have a smile on him and is very polite. Previously, i used to be very afraid of asking him questions but somehow, i mustered the courage to ask him some questions today, with the aid of my mentor. Seeing my supervisor smiling and laughing when he realised he had made a slight mistake in his explanation, i somehow feel that my supervisor isn;t that scary after all. In fact, probably he's glad I've taken the initiative to ask him questions(= Afterall, it never hurts to ask questions. My next aim would be to participate more during the lab meetings, instead of dozing off. Lolx.
I will continue to work harder.
